Introducing the Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) Role in Nuqleus’ Startup Builder Program

New generation of Nuqleus’ Startup Builder program brings several exciting news, one of the most significant being the introduction of experienced professionals in sales and business development as Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIR). Through this initiative, we provide ambitious, highly motivated professionals with extensive industry experience the opportunity to engage with Nuqleus’ cutting-edge startups.

Our goal is to create the perfect synergy between top-tier experts, capable of driving the next Microblink, Ghost Robotics, or TreeFrog Therapeutics to success, and world-class researchers who are developing groundbreaking solutions for pressing global challenges.

What is an Entrepreneur in Residence, and What is Their Role?

Nuqleus offers a unique opportunity to connect with a dynamic and innovative ecosystem of deep-tech startup founders, investors, and industry-leading experts. Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIRs) will join Nuqleus startups during the second phase of the Startup Builder program, playing a crucial role in the early stages of their development.

Upon joining a startup, EIRs will first collaborate with the founding team, providing strategic guidance and business development planning. This second phase spans three months, from April to June, with the EIR’s rights and obligations defined through a formal agreement. During this period, the EIR position is entirely voluntary.

At the end of the second phase, the founding team and the EIR will have the option to activate one of the contractual pathways: continued collaboration, where the EIR is awarded equity in the startup based on predefined goals or termination of engagement, if either party decides not to proceed further.

Nuqleus will offer legal support in defining the initial agreement between the EIR and the startup’s founding team.
