Nuqleus has once again been recognized by the Financial Times as one of Europe’s leading startup hubs! Even better, this year we climbed 8 places, now ranking #52 out of 180 hubs across 39 European countries, and proudly holding the #1 spot in Croatia.
This news is more than just a number. It’s a confirmation of everything we’ve been building for years: a community where startups, investors, academia, and entrepreneurs connect, share knowledge, and grow together. The Financial Times, in collaboration with Statista and Sifted, bases this ranking on the ratings and recommendations of those who are part of the ecosystem – our alumni, investors, and everyone actively shaping the startup scene every day.
For us, this recognition is proof that we are doing the right things. Every startup that launches here, every idea that develops, and every project that takes off is part of a bigger story, the story of Croatia stepping up as a serious player in Europe and beyond.
Of course, this achievement wouldn’t be possible without the startups and alumni who continually push boundaries, the partners and supporters who believe in our vision, and our amazing team who works every day to make the ecosystem thrive. Each of them plays a vital role in shaping what we see today, a community that supports and inspires.
This success is also a reminder: Croatia has the talent and potential, and recognition like this shows that we already stand shoulder to shoulder with Europe’s leading startup hubs. Now it’s up to us to turn this energy and trust into even more innovation, opportunities, and success stories.
